Southern Bear Profile:

Southern Bears is a no-frills organization, our membership dues are only $10. We have regular monthly events and good times, we meet at Amsterdam every second Saturday night at 7:00 PM, we make new friends, and play with the kind of men you like to be around! This, is your Southern Bears!

We are an organization of hirsute individuals and their admirers. Since February 13, 1993, the purpose of Southern Bears is to arrange social events for its members and provide a means of communication about activities.
 

Membership is open to any male who is hirsute or admires the hirsute. There are no physical characteristics required for membership. All members must be at least 21 years of age.

We have a large membership, and our members are not just in Atlanta! Through the use of our Yahoo Group site and the use of the internet, we have members throughout Georgia and the Southeast.  Currently, we have one member who is active military and is currently stationed in Japan.

We plan several camping trips each year as well as a whitewater rafting event on the Ocoee River with Class 3 and Class 4 rapids.  Check out our Events section for a month to month calendar of upcoming events.
